I have searched the forum without success for this topic.
I am interested in shooting a remote model, whose only camera is her cell phone. The specifications on her Samsung Galaxy A03 are quite good in terms of camera, especially for the front facing one (mostly used for modelling because the model can see herself).
The front-facing "Selfie" camera is rated 5 MP F2.2. For regular photos this should produce rather good images.
My question:
Is there a software which would allow me, from my Windows (PC) laptop to control her cell phone ... and take photos? I am not really thinking of video at this stage.
I did a lot of Internet search and found this option:
AirDroid Personal
This software was initially designed to transfer files from smartphones to PC laptops. It has expanded its' capabilities to allow remote control of the Android smartphone, from a PC laptop.
I tested with my Android cell phone and my laptop, and the system works. I can view the cell phone image on my laptop clearly and in real time.
But the resolution of the screencaptures is very low: 480 x 720 pixels.
Ideally I would at least be looking for 1920 x 1080 (which is only 2 MP), higher being better.
Does anyone have any brilliant suggestions? Being consigned to Death Valley, aka Canada with minimal shooting taking place, remote work is becoming more intriguing.

Nicolas
