A linear workflow is pretty traditional porn, where you shoot a video of a sequence of events, or one event in a sequence of shots to later in an editing program make a video then publish it for sale.

A non linear work flow is where you select a shot from a sequence of videoed events and add it to a project to create a story.

So effectively if there was a series of green screen performances then you could author/edit them in a way to create a video from that. Though other pieces of film not shot against green can work also. The advantage of green screen is that it makes it easier to put several performances together.

Because tech has revolutionised the industry and our lives there are new ways of working in a non-linear and in fact linear ways. Free networking solutions allow the sharing of video files up to 4K to be a wireless experience, iPhones, web cams and any digital camera or desktop display and video stored on the cloud or HD can be instantly and freely shared with very low latency at broadcast resolution.

These videos can be brought into a VPS network and collectively worked on by others from anywhere in a virtual environment which is also freely available. In there the time stamped video feeds can be worked on with full use of colour grading and virtual camera rigs with photorealistic effects from 360 virtual sets with full cinematic state of the art tech. From that 360,180, 4K and standard products can be made. Immediately and for ever as long as the material is still available.

Further more because of the instant nature of this wireless transfer it is possible to shoot on demand, this is live shooting to either create a part of some other story or to create a story in a fairly linear form for a specific project.

Also a virtual working set can include the work of a range of artist sound, lighting, set builder, virtual scouter as well as be a point of interaction between performers and other creatives. Because of the bi-directional nature of all that performers will be able to see them selves inside a virtual set from where ever they are. Even iPads can be used to control the movement and recording of movies from the virtual sets, which them selves can be tailored to be viewed outside of the working environment by fans using any web browser or VR head set. Which is AR VR production, it's arrived I guess.

This is all quite exciting maybe, in reality video editing and the post production servicing of a produced video takes time, and the more complex and good quality that is takes longer. This is the down fall of linear self production, which were all faced with. Beyond our situation in the pro world, video editors and distribution companies take care of that while content creators do their bit. In other words currently to shoot a movie only takes two hours, but making that into a final product takes days at least .

Sure you can just shoot a piece of film and put it on a site with no other work involved, just like you can set up a camera and your bed end and cam to chaturbate. But this is all limiting, both in returns and entirely in the creative context. This is an alternative approach aimed at cinematic production level entertainment.

In this enterprise you would shoot some video, ideally green screen, but even just an environment back ground would be a start. Make that video available on the network, which is simple and fast. Or you would input a live feed maybe recording a high quality source as back up and make that available. The network can see all of what is made available and there's no need to send a file or receive one to view any of the resources. This potentially turns hundreds of desktop pc's and cameras into sources. Inside the VPS network people can make videos, make the sources into presentable videos and offer them back through the system to the originator, providing them with content. Or in the case of contributor with no adult content allow them to make videos, and money from them, as long as their skills or creativity was up to the challenge.

SO basically there's no catch, no fees none of that, its content, and the volume of it turned into a VOD product that makes money. Though its almost certain to work if 'performers' were commissioned and video editors and sound engineers were paid fees and to an extent that will happen probably, but the primary purpose is one of a shared working environment with the goal to produce quality entertainment beyond the capabilities of just one individual.

Over the winter I'll be producing the virtual world, starting with the 'Circus of Fetish' and spiralling out to create more content as time goes on. And also examples of how remote shooting can be a good thing in some ways and probably where it fails in others. SO far I know how to put two green screens or more together in a set and make a movie from that, grabbing the sources over the network feeding them in directly both live and pre recoded and how to get a movie out of there and onto a site.

To do:- set up VPS a private secure server with the program running where access can be granted, for other set builders creatives and editors. Set up a public server where fans can interact with the world and some of its content, and from that make their own little VR journey.

All the software is free, for PC, Mac and other systems, and ties into things like adobe creative clod, though the installation of it to an iPhone costs 20 quid on the Apple Store.

Tbh. I can't even think of all the things this can be used for, its potential is quite vast, but instant virtual Realtime collective video/VR production is here now.

Responses to this thread are limited, and the information may seem complex, also to me its new. But feel free to DM me to discuss any part of it, I deliberately haven't listed the software though there's only one programme, which associates through plugins with the two others used in this entire pretty simple process, so its going to be very easy to find, though I personally was unaware of it until two days ago.
