You will need:
- Camera + lens
- Light source
- Still life objects (examples could include fruit, eggs, jigsaw pieces, dried pasta (good luck with that one))
Create a scene using your chosen still life subject under a constant light source such as a desk lamp. Turn off all auto features (such as face recognition, exposure bias etc.) and set your camera to capture in RAW+JPEG
Turn your camera to manual and set the aperture to f8. Using ISO and shutter speed adjust these until you get the image with the best exposure (I would suggest starting at ISO 800, shutter speed 1/125).
