Thank you for voting for me to be videographer of the year, in my humble acceptance message I'd like to thank @unicrondisney as without her help and support I'd have nowt. Well done everyone else too some fantastic work.
Next year I'd like to see:-
2020 Videographer of the year and the runners up to actually have videos on here. Making videos look and sound good is hard work, proof of the pudding is actual video product not the mention of it.
Though you could have social networker of the year.
Also new category's, 'Video Sales of the year' and best Video Performer, male female and trans, gender fluid neutral.
On the tech side Editing, Colouring and sound are 3 key specialist jobs. Or certainly parts of the job for the self producer.
Producers and Videographers are not always the same person, Camera work, direction and lighting are the 3 Oscars there.
No doubt all of this would make the awards page look heavily in favour of the relative complexities involved in video production. But also highlights the amount of people potentially involved in making a video product.
Really I personally see no conflict with the mediums, mostly is just matter of pressing a button on the camera to produce either medium. One of them if made into a steady product has a higher value commercially than the other medium.
