This was my first session with Katrin. I had her on my radar for a while, but since I travel extensively, we haven't met until now. She is an amazing person and a great model. She immediately understood that I didn't want the "give me a sexy look" nonsense, and I didn't even have to say it.
I work slowly, keeping changing the light and the pose until I am satisfied before I shoot. When I told her to hold the pose, she did it perfectly. I know this is hard for many models, but it was essential for our shoot. I shot a bunch of 8x10 negatives, which would not have been possible if she had fidgeted like so many models do.
