I last overhauled my PC back in 2011 so aside from an upgrade to a SSD drive and a bit more RAM it’s getting pretty old. I have started looking at recommended builds for video and image editing for the enthusiast and the costs are pretty high. So I’m wondering what sort of spec machines some of you are using that work with 4K and full HD video. This thread may put some people to sleep for which I apologise!
To give you an idea I am looking at building around an i7 series processor. As you might guess I tend to get some use out of my kit so next upgrade would be 2025!
