I know the topic of fake profiles has been discussed a lot but one aspect which really annoys me are the profiles which have been approved more than 2,3 years ago and still have 0 references. To be clear, I am talking about female models who most people would consider "attractive" and, as such, would be expected to do many shoots.
Surely, these profiles (even if they are not strictly speaking "fake" insofar as there is an actual would be model behind them) should be removed after a while?
The obviously fake ones seem to be removed very quickly but there are about a dozen profiles which always come up in my searches which are clearly people who are not serious. I know 1 in particular that I have seen about 10 years ago on another site (same profile pics!) and yet there it is, still 0 references. Are these people exceptionally picky, unlucky, demand that people don't leave references for them...?
