Why good models avoid photographers with poor composition photos in their portfoli o

There are hundreds of thousands of "photographers" now that it is easy to create "adult" images using digital cameras.  The processing of film created a road-block for many in the past because the average person did not have a dark room or access to a confidential lab.  Popping down to the chemists with hot photos might be a bit too much for many to endure.

I am surprised that this site doesn't appear to curate the "badly lit bedroom porn" (BLBP) and remove images in which the composition is just awful.  It seems that some "photographers" are unable to use the eyepiece or screen to compose a decent shot and the "photograph" is just a snap taken carelessly without any thought.

I am not complaining about rank amateurs doing this - that is fine and they are just having fun but I am amazed at the number of so-called semi-professional or professional photographers who are anything but professional when it comes to image composition.  I won't name anyone but since dozens of "photographers" join this site daily I fear the portfolios that are shown here reduce the impact of this site as an adult version of its sister site - madcowmodels.com.

Good models will probably reject enquiries and offers for shoots from "photographers" whose portfolio consists of a large number of snaps and BLBP, and so they should.  Probably the guy will turn up at the model's house holding a small digital camera or even a smartphone and expect the model to "do her stuff" for an hour or so and bizarrely the pictures end up some on here and some on the mainstream adult photo sharing sites.   It does the model's reputation no good at all, even if she is a hardcore sex worker in addition to modeling adult images and is keen to be in the public eye.

So please, if you are inexperienced, have problems working out BEFORE you take a single shot what is going to appear in the photo, what the lighting is like and adjusting the white balance accordingly, and getting any extraneous clutter out of the way before you begin, just be honest and have fun but don't upload those images on this site.   There is nothing wrong with using an inexpensive camera or smartphone set to automatic exposure - and an expensive DSLR set on auto is a waste of time and money - but it does not make you a photographer, amateur or professional.

If you are claiming to be a professional or semi-professional photographer you must surely be able to understand lighting, exposure, depth of field, focal length, composition and subject to a sufficient degree to actually be able to compete for publication of your photos for a reasonable fee.

Oh yes, although Photoshop and similar editors can be used to enhance and tidy a shot, these applications cannot convert crap photos into good ones.

Should AF curate and delete low-grade photographs -
